Once upon a time…
I’ve always wanted to shoot a couple splash photos! Without any setup at all, all you need is a an amazing assistant (even better, if named Kristen) to drop the lemon, lime, kiwi, egg or whatever you are splashing (coffee, water, wine) into a glass and a camera with a high shutter speed. I would stick to a shutter speed faster than 1/250, the faster the better.

(500) Days of Summer
After Niko’s suggestion this summer, I finally watched it. This movie has a cute timeline and was beautifully shot. I loveeeed the way it used color. Anyway, I liked it. It’s not a love story… and definitely not your typical chick flick. My favorite quote from it all…

For my photo class, I had to shoot a couple scenes with different exposures and with different lenses. I decided to do this at the cemetery on campus, and will post these photos if I feel like it later :)
However, while Christine and I were out, I experimented and took some other shots at the Japan House. Here they are!
What is foundation primer? What is a highlighter? I’ve actually never knew or heard of all these gobbly gook mambo jambo before. But when you get a couple experts, some youtube videos, cheesy pizzas all together … things all make perfect sense! Thank you Peggy & Christine for enlightening us!
International Night, BioE Happy Hour, and ECE drinking club…. all collide at one place & one time. That is at Murphy’s on Thursday nights.
And according to Fisher’s summon, it is the one day of the week where we can find peace and friends after a hard week of work. For me, it is also a great opportunity to people watch.
So here I will post some photos of people working & then people playing :). It’s like a double entry!
I’m thankful for my active lifestyle. Work hard and then play hard the same evening. It is awesome!

Party Idea!
